Wanted: Trustees

We are looking for 5 new Trustees to join our board, bringing skills and experience to guide the development of our fundraising, stakeholder management and board administration.

Who we are

Theatre Chaplaincy UK offers pastoral and practical support to those of all faiths and none, who are engaged in the performing arts. Through the work of its chaplains and supporters, TCUK seeks to bring together faith and theatre for the enrichment of both.

We are particularly interested to hear from individuals with one or a combination of the following:

• Experience of having worked in the theatre industry or related fields.

• Experience of fundraising and income generation. We wish to develop our fundraising strategy diversifying our income streams based on experience of a range of successful fundraising approaches.

• IT and social media management skills

• Public Relations

These are unpaid voluntary roles, however reasonable out-of-pocket expenses can be reimbursed. The time commitment includes 7 formal meetings (6 Trustee meetings and 1 AGM) per year which take place mid-week mornings in person at St Paul’s Church Covent Garden or on Zoom, whichever is preferred. In addition, it is desirable that Trustees can devote at least 4 hours per month to participating in or leading organisational development and governance projects.
